Georgette Schwartz has been a nutrition and fitness educator and specialist focusing on complete mental and physical well-being for over 20 years. Georgette is the dynamic and energetic Director of Nutrition at Evolve Acupuncture and Wellness.
What started as a passionate interest has turned into a dream career for Georgette. She served as the Director of Nutrition Services at Integrative Acupuncture for 10 years, where she worked alonside Kimberly Marrone, AP. There, Georgette was focused on preparing customized nutrition, exercise and supplement programs for healthy patients who want to optimize their health and energy as well as those challenged by health conditions including cardio metabolic syndrome, hormone imbalances, cancer, digestive issues, weight issues, diabetes, low energy and food allergies.
Through her own experience of avoiding a hysterectomy with dietary & lifestyle changes, Georgette became inspired to help others, and is a devoted and thorough student and practitioner of the healing arts. She is continuously seeking an ever-deepening understanding and application of the principals of nutrition and health, and is especially eager to explore the connections between conventional nutritional knowledge and broader perspectives, including natural health. Intuitive and attentive, Georgette is always ready to support her clients in their healing journeys to the fullest extent of their interest; she is compassionate and considerate, deeply caring and trustworthy, and has an unwavering commitment to her client’s success.
Georgette holds her Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition from Hawthorn University in northern California, and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutriton. Her thesis was on the Role of the Ketogenic Diet in the Fight against Cancer. She achieved her Bachelors of Business Administration from the prestigious American University in Washington D.C., and is a licensed fitness trainer through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Georgette is also a Certified Healthcare Practitioner in Metagenics® First Line Therapy® – the high-quality supplement line as well as a Certified Metabolic Balance® coach. Georgette is a Certified GAPS Practitioner, a NORI practitioner, and a Certified Gluten Practitioner. In addition, Georgette is a certified Wahls Practitioner which allows her to address autoimmune issues using a a dietary approach. Georgette also has special training and certification in The Bredesen Protocol which focuses on patients struggling with neurological symptoms.
Georgette has numerous other professional associations including the International & American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN), and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) where she serves as a board member. She is also an active member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
As a member of the community, Georgette gives her time generously. She is a retired board member of Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA), and a regular speaker at Wellington Regional Hospital Cancer Support Group. Georgette speaks weekly at the Regency Health Center & Spa in Hollywood, Florida. Georgette lectures at various conferences to doctors and lay-people alike. She presented at the A4M Integrative Cancer Symposium in Phoenix, AZ in April of 2012 . Georgette lectures for the Integrative Cancer Fellowship on the subject of Nutrition for Cancer and Georgette is a regular presenter at the annual NANP Conference.
